Illness Rules and Conditions

 Illness/Sick Rules and Restrictions

Here at Beautiful Day Doula, we are proud to announce that we are fully vaccinated with 3 doses of the Pfizer vaccine, as well as up to date on T-DAP, and Flu. We also currently adhere to the CDC guidelines about mask wearing and social distancing.

While the pandemic is still present and rises and falls in waves, and almost all mask mandates have been dropped, please note that Nicole, although vaccinated, will be wearing a mask inside all homes that show any signs of illness. Nicole works inside a pediatric hospital inpatient facility when not serving clients and never wants to run the risk of bringing a germ, virus, or bacteria inside your home and to your family. During peak cold/flu/RSV/COVID season, Nicole will wear a mask if exposed to those viruses and wash hand/sanitize vigorously.

Nicole hopes that all families will be transparent about their health and let her know if there’s any contagious illness going around the client’s family, or if someone is suspected of having covid-19. If clients, other children in the home, or the newborns show any signs of fever, cough, diarrhea, or vomiting, please inform Nicole immediately so a plan can be discussed before the next schedule shift. Nicole has a small family of her own and will remain just as transparent is illness is present in her own household.

If clients would like Nicole to test and provide a negative Covid test before beginning work, we are happy to do so. We appreciate your compassion and understanding with this matter!
